The Young People Index (YPI) is an online
assessment tool which prepares young people for success.

Used by education, professionals and youth organisations it helps identify and nurture the impact young people
will make now and in the future.

The results from the assessment empowers young people by highlighting their unique impact in terms of how
they can best contribute to a team, organisation, project or role boosting confidence and self awareness.

By taking part in the GC, leaders and teachers are given a heightened awareness of their own unique approaches to making an impact in teams and most importantly, on the young people they teach. Furthermore, by having their peoples take part in the young people index they will be more aware of how individual learners can make their best impact.

SOME POSITIVE OUTCOMES:

  • The way teams work within schools is transformed, utilising the natural proclivities of individuals and increasing motivation and productivity.
  • Teachers analyse how they facilitate learning in their classroom. For example, unconscious bias towards people who have the same preferences as they do.
  • Teachers adapt and hone questioning skills to engage and motivate every pupil in order to help individuals work at greater depth.
  • Teachers begin to understand motivations of pupils who are often seen as disruptive, difficult or challenging which improves relationships and, in turn teaching and learning.
  • Teachers deliver more informed and meaningful careers education.
