Réncái’s partnership with British Council began as result of our need to build an effective team of HR experts that could help deliver the company wide HR Change programme moving forward. As part of our HR Organisational redesign we identified a need to hire new Head of HR Systems and Head of HR Process Improvement positions. Following unsuccessful rounds of recruitment through direct advertising and using our ongoing recruitment partners Réncái were engaged as specialists in the HR Change delivery area and were successful in placing candidates with the appropriate skills and track record of delivery into each role at the first attempt.

Réncái‘s approach have taken time to develop a deep understanding of our needs and the end goals we look to achieve. Not simply introducing people that had skills/expertise that aligned with the role profile, but importantly those who understand the key consideration and complexities required to be effective in the role and as part of the project team looking to achieve business change in a unique company such as British Council.

In addition to delivering the two permanent hires, it was identified that our programme would benefit from some specific short term expertise, that Réncái could support with appropriate resources to further define & document the ‘user journeys’ to support our plans for the investment in SaaS HR Technology systems. Réncái were able to deliver a well qualified consultant to complete a 60 day engagement at short notice. This project was delivered successfully, inline with the expectations set out in the agreed Terms of Reference document.
